My hometown is a small but beautiful city in the south of China. It is not very big, but it is full of life and green trees. There is a clean river running through the city center, and many old bridges cross over it.

In spring, flowers bloom everywhere. The weather is warm and comfortable. I often go to the park near my home with my parents on weekends. We fly kites on the grass. In summer, the river becomes the best place. Children swim and play in the water, and their laughter fills the air. Autumn is my favourite season. The air is cool, and the mountains around the city turn golden and red. It looks like a colourful painting. Winter is not very cold here. Sometimes it rains a lot.

People in my hometown are very friendly. They always smile and say hello to each other. The food is also delicious, especially the fresh fish from the river and the sweet fruits from the farms.

I love my hometown very much. It is a peaceful and lovely place. No matter where I go in the future, I will always remember it and be proud of it.
