Today was a really normal school day, but I noticed some *all, interesting things. In the morning, while walking to class, I saw two little sparrows hopping on the sports field. They were picking at something on the ground, maybe crumbs from someone's breakfast. They weren't scared at all, just jumping around happily under the warm sun. It made me feel peaceful for a moment before the busy schoolwork started.
Our first class was Chinese. Teacher Wang told us a funny story about an ancient poet. Everyone laughed so hard. I think learning is much easier when the teacher makes it fun. During the math class, I finally understood that geometry problem I’d been struggling with for two days. It felt so good to solve it! My deskmate, Li Hua, helped me a little. I should thank him tomorrow.
Lunch in the cafeteria was noodles. They were a bit salty today, but I was hungry so I ate them all. I sat with my friends. We talked about the new basketball movie and argued about which superhero is the strongest. It was noisy but fun.
In the afternoon, we had P.E. We played badminton. I'm not very good at it. I kept missing the shuttlecock, and Wang Feng from the next team was really good. He kept scoring. I felt a bit frustrated, but our teacher said, "Just keep trying, you'll get better." So I did. By the end of the class, I managed to hit it back a few times. Small victory!
After school, I stayed to clean the classroom with my group. We swept the floor and wiped the blackboard. When everything was clean and tidy, the classroom looked nice. Walking home, I thought about the sparrows in the morning, the math problem, the lunchtime laugh, and the badminton game. Nothing big happened, but it was a full day. My school life is made of these little ordinary pieces, and I think they are quite special in their own way.
