Hello, everyone. My name is Li Hua, and I am truly excited to be here and have this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you.
I am a 16-year-old student who just entered this wonderful high school. I come from a warm and supportive family. My father is an engineer and my mother is a doctor. Their dedication to their work has always inspired me to be diligent and caring. I also have a younger sister who brings a lot of joy and laughter to our home.
Academically, I have a strong passion for science, especially physics and mathematics. I find it fascinating to explore how things work and to solve complex problems. Besides these core subjects, I also enjoy learning English. I believe it is a vital tool for connecting with the wider world and accessing different cultures and knowledge. In my free time, I love reading books, particularly science fiction and biographies. They expand my imagination and teach me valuable life lessons. Furthermore, I am an active member of the school's basketball team. Playing basketball not only keeps me fit but also teaches me the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and strategy.
Regarding my personality, my friends often describe me as optimistic, reliable, and a bit curious. I always try to look on the bright side of things and I value my friendships deeply. I am the person my friends can count on when they need help with homework or just someone to talk to. I am also eager to learn new things and am not afraid to ask questions. However, I am aware that I sometimes tend to be a perfectionist, which can slow me down. I am working on finding a better balance between striving for excellence and managing my time efficiently.
Looking ahead to my high school life, I have set several goals for myself. First, I aim to achieve excellent academic results to lay a solid foundation for my future university studies. Second, I hope to improve my English proficiency significantly, aiming to be able to communicate fluently and read advanced materials. Third, I want to contribute to our school community, perhaps by joining the student council or volunteering for various events. I believe high school is not just about studying; it's also about growing as a person and building lasting memories and friendships.
