Hello, I'm a Brand New Middle School Student!
Hi everyone! My name is Lin Yue, but you can call me Lucy. I'm so excited and a little nervous to stand here and introduce myself to all my new clas*ates and teachers.
I just graduated from primary school, and now I'm starting my exciting journey here at Maple Leaf Middle School. Everything feels new and full of possibilities. I love this feeling of a fresh start.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm 12 years old. I live with my parents and my younger brother, who is much noisier than me! In my free time, I really enjoy reading books, especially adventure stories and science fiction. They take me to amazing worlds. I also like drawing. It’s a peaceful way for me to express my feelings. Sometimes, I listen to music or go for a bike ride with my family on weekends.
As for my personality, I think I'm a friendly and helpful person. I may seem a bit quiet when we first meet, but once I get to know you, I can be quite talkative! I always try my best to be kind to others. I believe a *ile is the best way to make friends.
My favorite subject used to be art, but I'm looking forward to exploring new subjects like biology and geography here in middle school. I know studying English is very important, so I promise to work hard on it. My dream is to become a great designer one day, creating beautiful and useful things.
Of course, I have some weaknesses too. I'm not very good at sports, especially running. I get tired easily. Also, I sometimes spend too much time on *all details in my homework. I know I need to learn to manage my time better.
Starting middle school is like setting sail on a big ocean. There might be challenges ahead, but I'm ready to learn, to grow, and to make wonderful memories with all of you. I hope we can help each other, study together, and become good friends.
